Withrow Park Farmer's Market
![]() |
The market is a project of the Centre for Local Food Initiatives. We've adopted an ecological and local focus on fresh produce and prepared foods. As part of our eco responsibility we encourage market patrons to walk or bike to the market, and use reusable shopping bags (also available for purchase at the market) and containers for soft fruits. To learn more about us click here. To view some of the food prep demos contributed by local chefs and other culinars, and for links to our favourite food sites, see the recipes page. |
Open every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, from May 18 to October 26! We are located in south-east Toronto's Riverdale, at the north end of the park, 1 block south of Greektown on the Danforth, between Carlaw & Logan (closest subway stops: Chester & Pape). Come for the food, stay for the perks!
Rental inquiries: for facilities rentals, like the Club House or rink, call Frankland CC at 416-392-1819; for outdoor parties/events in the park visit the City's Outdoor Special Events page.

Adopt A Tree in Withrow Park Close to 100 trees have been planted in Withrow Park last year and it's adoption time!! As you likely know, new trees need some tender loving care and water. We are looking for volunteers to adopt one or more trees to take care of and ensure their survival and thriving. If you are interested in adopting one or more trees please contact the Friends of Withrow Park Trees Group at withrowtrees[at]gmail.com or 416-466-2390. |
Musicians/Buskers wanted!
If you live in the neighbourhood and like to jam, bring it to the market! Non or minimally amplified classical, folk or pop music, vocal or acoustic, is welcome, but let me know you want to grace market folks with your music: info[at]withrowpark.ca.
Even if you don't live in the hood, but love to play to an appreciative crowd, our market patrons will toss coins or bills in your hat or guitar case. Come join our lovely community and liven it up with tunes and tricks.
The market encourages community groups and non-profits to apply for a spot at the market to promote their programs free of charge. Unfortunately, although we work with elected officials in the promotion and development of the market, we cannot host political parties. To get an application, please e-mail info[at]withrowpark.ca.
